Your Role
As a Data Analytics Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Data Science team with infrastructural tasks. Your main job will be to build the right data architecture which ensures that the information is correct, available and accessible to study data patterns, in order to build and track key metrics and understand product performance. The size of our databases, some of which are on the petabytes-scale, will be a big technical challenge. You will be mainly working with data analysts & data engineers.

Your Tasks

·         Create and maintain optimal ETL pipelines architecture

·         Improve the optimal infrastructure required for performing data analysis and data science tasks

·         Troubleshoot PostgreSQL issues and propose/implement fixes

·         Build good monitoring system for the infrastructure

·         Act as a bridge between the data science and engineering teams

Your Profile

·         Proficient Python user

·         Good knowledge of PostgreSQL

·         Experience in building ETL processes, knowledge of Luigi is a plus

·         Interest or experience in columnar databases is a plus
